Section 04

Email campaign rules

Users who send email campaigns through BlnkSpace must comply with all applicable anti-spam laws including CAN-SPAM (USA), CASL (Canada), and GDPR (EU).

Consent requirements

  • Only send to contacts who have given you explicit permission to email them
  • Do not use purchased, rented, or scraped email lists
  • Do not import contacts from sources where recipients did not consent to receive marketing from you specifically
  • For Canadian contacts: obtain express consent before sending any commercial messages (CASL)
  • Maintain records of how and when you obtained consent for each contact

Content requirements

  • Every campaign must include your name or trading name and a physical or P.O. box address
  • Every campaign must include a clearly visible, functional unsubscribe link or mechanism
  • Subject lines must not be deceptive or misleading
  • Commercial messages must be clearly identified as such

Process requirements

  • Honour unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
  • Do not send further marketing to anyone who has unsubscribed
  • Do not attempt to circumvent unsubscribes by re-importing the same contact

We monitor sending patterns for abuse indicators including high bounce rates and spam complaint rates. We may throttle or suspend campaign access for patterns inconsistent with legitimate email marketing.

Section 05

Platform integrity

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of BlnkSpace
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers on BlnkSpace without our express permission
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, suspensions, or bans
  • Share your account credentials with other people (use the collaboration features instead)
  • Resell or sublicense access to BlnkSpace without our written permission
  • Use BlnkSpace to build a competing product without our consent
  • Probe or test the vulnerability of any BlnkSpace system without authorisation
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service for other users

Section 06

Published pages

When you publish a page on BlnkSpace, it becomes publicly accessible on the internet. As the publisher, you are solely responsible for its content. In addition to the prohibitions above, published pages must not:

  • Mislead visitors about the nature or operator of the page
  • Engage in deceptive collection of visitor data
  • Contain drive-by downloads or attempt to install software without consent
  • Embed third-party tracking scripts that violate visitors' privacy rights without appropriate consent and disclosure
  • Automatically redirect visitors to other websites without their interaction
  • Serve different content to search engine crawlers than to human visitors (cloaking)

If you collect personal data from visitors (e.g. via email sign-up forms), you are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws, including providing a privacy notice and obtaining appropriate consent.

Section 07

AI assistant usage

When using the BlnkSpace AI writing assistant, you must not attempt to:

  • Use the AI to generate content that would itself violate this AUP (spam, illegal content, deceptive content)
  • Use prompt injection techniques to manipulate AI behaviour in ways that harm BlnkSpace or other users
  • Use the AI to assist in illegal activities

You are responsible for any AI-generated content you publish or distribute through BlnkSpace, just as you are responsible for any other content you create.

Section 08

Reporting violations

If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it:

  • General AUP violations: abuse@blnkspace.com
  • Copyright infringement: legal@blnkspace.com
  • Urgent safety issues (CSAM, imminent harm): safety@blnkspace.com

Please include the URL of the content, a description of the violation, and your contact information. We review all reports promptly.

Section 09

Enforcement

When we determine a violation has occurred, we may take one or more of the following actions depending on severity:

Content actions

  • Issue a warning and request removal of violating content
  • Remove or disable specific content
  • Remove the published page from public access

Account actions

  • Temporarily suspend specific features (campaign sending, commerce)
  • Temporarily suspend the entire account
  • Permanently terminate the account

Legal actions

  • Report violations to relevant authorities
  • Cooperate with law enforcement investigations
  • Seek injunctive relief or other legal remedies

We will generally attempt to notify you and give you an opportunity to respond, except where immediate action is required to protect safety, notification would compromise an investigation, or we are required by law not to notify.

Section 10

Appeals

If you believe we have taken action against your account or content in error, you may appeal by emailing appeals@blnkspace.com within 14 days of the action. Please include:

  • Your account email address
  • A description of the action taken
  • Your explanation of why you believe the action was in error
  • Any supporting information or evidence

We will review appeals and respond within 14 business days. Our decision on appeals is final.

Section 11

Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP to reflect changes in our platform, new types of misuse, or changes in applicable law. We will notify users of material changes by email and in-app notice with at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect.
