Cookie Policy

BlnkSpace does not set any cookies of its own. The only cookies involved are strictly necessary ones set by Clerk (to keep you logged in) and Stripe (during checkout). Interface preferences are stored in browser local storage instead. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertising networks.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — such as that you are logged in — so you don't have to re-enter it every time.

Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them). They can be "first-party" (set by BlnkSpace) or "third-party" (set by services we use).

Similar technologies such as local storage and session storage work in a similar way and are covered by this policy.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

BlnkSpace does not set any cookies of its own. The cookies below are set by the third-party services BlnkSpace relies on, and are required for the Service to function — you cannot opt out of these and continue using BlnkSpace. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under applicable cookie laws.

What we do not use

Section 03

Third-party cookies on published pages

BlnkSpace allows users to embed third-party content on their published pages (YouTube videos, Loom recordings, Google Maps etc.). When you visit a BlnkSpace-published page containing embedded content, that third party may set its own cookies on your device.

BlnkSpace has no control over third-party cookies set on user-published pages. If you are a BlnkSpace user who publishes pages with embedded content, you are responsible for informing your visitors about any third-party cookies that may be set.

Local storage and session storage

Instead of setting its own cookies, BlnkSpace uses browser local storage to remember interface preferences on your device:

None of this is transmitted to our servers — it exists only on your device. You can clear it at any time via your browser's site data settings for blnkspace.app (or your custom domain, for the cart key specifically, which is scoped per published site).

Managing and controlling cookies

Browser settings

Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies in your privacy or security settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent BlnkSpace from working — you will not be able to stay logged in.

Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Opt-out of specific services

Stripe: stripe.com/cookie-settings
Clerk: Strictly necessary — cannot be opted out without losing authentication

Do Not Track

BlnkSpace does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not use tracking cookies regardless of this signal.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new features that use cookies or similar technologies. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
